We currently use one basic recipe for all the soaps. It helps with the consistency between fragrances and keeps the process simple for the sake of time. We use natural and synthetic fragrance oils instead of essential oil to lower any allergen reactivity in our soaps. Essential oils are amazing, but there is a lot of chemistry involved when they are mixed and concentrated in a recipe. We try to make something that is simple, gentle for most skin types and consistent in quality.

Ingredients: Goat’s milk, olive oil, coconut oil, palm oil, sodium hydroxide, fragrance. All oils ethically sourced.

What Makes Goat’s Milk Soap So Amazing?

· Goat's milk natural cleaning characteristics helps eliminate debris, oil, and dead skin cells from the skin gently and without the use of harsh chemicals or rough exfoliant additions.

· Many generic lotions and soaps make claims about how hydrating their products are for the skin. However, goat's milk is a completely natural option that does not require any unpleasant additions or chemicals to function.

· Because goat's milk has a pH similar to that of the skin, it helps regulate the pH of the skin, resulting in a healthy, moisturized shine. 

· Lactic acid is an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) that serves as a mild exfoliant. Using lactic acid–containing cleansers such as milk and dairy products helps slough off the top layer of dead skin cells. This helps to tone and reduce the appearance of pores, keep wrinkles, age spots, and hyperpigmentation at bay.

· Goat’s milk is rich in vitamins A, C, D, E, and B vitamins protect skin cells from oxidative stress. They protect the skin by combating free radicals, which otherwise promote the aging process.

· Goat’s milk is wonderful for relieving skin inflammation especially those who have sensitive skin or allergies to chemical products. Goat milk's high fatty acid content keeps skin moisturized and relieves
dryness, ich and other irritation.

Our farm processes between 10-15 animals a year for personal consumption. We feel strongly about knowing where our food comes from and how it was treated. The harvesting process is done 100% on farm in a humane and calm environment. We choose to put in the extra work to save all the hides, one part of minimizing waste to utilize the whole animal. It is a lot of extra work but well worth the effort so the beautiful colors are not waisted.

After cleaning and salting we send hides to Moyle & Mink in Idaho for the final processing. This allows us to confidently say they will hold up with high traffic use as a couch throw or foot rug for years. They also are popular for textile crafts like purses, pillows and costuming.
